Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 5 to 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. However, your order may be processed sooner depending on order volume. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.                                                                                      

High-volume orders will require additional time as a potential delay, Orders placed around the holiday season or experiencing bad weather may also be determining factors.

Once your order has been scanned by the respective shipping company, it now becomes the sole responsibility of USPS, UPS, or FedEx. **The Eclectic Desi is NOT responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.**

The Eclectic Desi is not responsible for applicable customs fees, import duties, taxes, or any other charges.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

 Local delivery

Free local delivery is available for orders over $25 up to 10 miles of our business location. We also have zoned delivery fees for up to 50 miles of our business location. This may be a better option than shipping your order locally, as it ensures that you receive your order in a timely fashion.

Deliveries are coordinated with the customer to ensure orders make it to the intended party. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival. Deliveries are typically made Monday - Friday; however, exceptions can be made, depending on the time sensitivity of the order.

In-Store Pickup

Did you find exactly what you were looking for online, but can't wait for delivery? Choose in-store pickup at checkout and grab your purchases faster than ever!

Here's how it works:

  1. Shop online: Browse our wide selection of products and add your favorites to your cart.
  2. Select in-store pickup: At checkout, choose the "in-store pickup" option and select your preferred store location.
  3. Wait for the "ready" notification: We'll notify you by email or text message as soon as your order is ready for pickup. Orders should be ready within 5+ business days, unless otherwise indicated.
  4. Head to the store: Bring your ID and pickup notification (email or text) to the designated in-store pickup area. Our friendly staff will help you get on your way quickly!

Benefits of in-store pickup:

  • Fast and convenient: Skip the wait for delivery and get your items right away.
  • Free: In-store pickup is a free service for all local orders.
  • Change of plans? No problem! If you need to modify or cancel your order before pickup, simply contact us.

International Shipping

 At this time, we do not ship outside the USA. However, as we grow and there is a demand, we will update this policy accordingly. 

 Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.  

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. The Eclectic Desi is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 5  business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@theeclecticdesi.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

There are some stipulations to shipping to P.O. boxes. Make sure you are aware of the policies surrounding this for your residential location prior to placing an order. Once the package leaves our facility, 

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery, ONLY if the item(s) are unused and damaged or the wrong item(s) are shipped.
